Accessibility statement
findyourdentist.com — part of the Alliance of Independent Dentists. Last updated May 2026.
Our commitment
FindYourDentist, part of the Alliance of Independent Dentists, is committed to making it easy for everyone — including people with disabilities — to find an independent dentist. We aim to conform to the WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines.
What we do
We build with semantic HTML, keyboard-navigable controls, sufficient color contrast in the brand palette, descriptive labels and alternative text, and respect for reduced-motion preferences in animations.
Accessibility is reviewed as the site evolves rather than treated as a one-time task.
Known limitations
Some content — such as practice photos and the interactive map — comes from third-party data and tools. We provide text alternatives (names, addresses, and a list view alongside the map) so the directory is usable without relying on the map itself.
Tell us about a barrier
